Dr. Gupta chose nephrology because of her love for physiology and the diversity of patients and diagnoses this area of medicine has to offer. She enjoys spending time with her patients and getting to know them on a personal level. When she's not seeing patients, she enjoys biking, reading, hiking, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Born and raised in Iowa, Dr. Gupta completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa. She graduated from medical school at Des Moines University and finished her residency at Garden City Hospital. Dr. Gupta completed a Fellowship at the Ascension St John Macomb-Oakland Hospital. She is board certified in Internal Medicine being fluent in English and Hindi and she will be seeing patients at both of our office locations.
