Dr. Shadur proudly served the Des Moines community for over 35 years and though he is no longer actively practicing and accepting new patients, he is still part of the education and training at Methodist Plaza. He currently holds an education series several times a month for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He enjoys baking, bicycling, traveling, and playing golf. He is a fan of classical music especially, opera and symphony.
Dr. Shadur completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University and his Medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He finished his medical training at Harvard Medical School in Boston Massachusetts where he completed an Internal Medicine Residency, and two Nephrology and Transplantation Fellowships.
