Dr. Geetha selected the area of nephrology because it is an area of medicine that involves in depth basic human physiology as well as complex clinical care while incorporating mathematical analysis in day-to-day patient care. It also provides an opportunity to form long term relationships with her patients. During her free time she enjoys reading, listening to music, and riding bikes. If she was not practicing medicine, she might have chosen to be an astrophysicist.
Dr. Geetha was born and raised in India where she attended medical school, at T.D Medical College. In 2016, she moved to Boston and completed her residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center through Tufts University and fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center through Harvard University. She is at our Methodist Plaza office location.
