Dr. Yaseen’s fascination with the complexity of kidneys is what inspired him to become a Nephrologist. He is originally from Palestine and says his favorite things about Iowa are the friendly people, and how clean and quiet it is here. Dr. Yaseen is fluent in English and Arabic and his hobbies include racquetball and golf.
He attended medical school at the University of Jordan and was accepted into the Internal Medicine Program at Wayne State University. He then pursued a Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Iowa. Dr. Yaseen is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Yaseen has been practicing since 2001. He will be seeing patients at both of our office locations.
